Tit 1:: Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ for the faith of God's elect and the knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness—
Titus 1:2: In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began A divine attribute of God: He cannot lie.
Titus 1:3: But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our saviour A case for the vocation of preaching.
Tit 1:15: To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. Often one who sees everything as corrupt is making more of a judgment about themselves....they themselves are corrupt.
Tit 3:14: Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order that they may provide for daily necessities and not live unproductive lives. Doing good is part of a productive life.
